Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting South Stanly High School senior Luzveiri Maldonado as she completed a job shadowing project for Mrs. Howell’s class.
Luzveiri spent five hours with us, working alongside Noel DePaz and Maria Maldonado, getting a first-hand look at what we do here at New Finish. We’re thrilled to provide hands-on learning opportunities for local students, helping them explore career paths right here in Stanly County!
This program is part of our longstanding partnership with SSHS to offer practical job experience. Currently, two other SSHS students, Malloy Kimrey and Jessica Jaimes, are working with us daily, earning school credit and valuable on-the-job training. For years, we’ve proudly supported this initiative, often hiring one or more students full-time at the end of the school year. We’re committed to helping those who may not be college-bound build rewarding careers in our community.
Thank you to SSHS for this meaningful partnership, and to Luzveiri, Malloy, and Jessica for bringing your energy and curiosity to New Finish!
