Last Wednesday, December 3rd, New Finish, Inc. proudly joined the community for the annual Norwood Christmas Parade—a cherished tradition we look forward to every year!
This event not only rings in the holiday season with joy and celebration, but also helps raise funds for an organization close to the heart of our community: the Center Rural Volunteer Fire and Rescue.
Since 1957, Center Rural Volunteer Fire and Rescue has faithfully served the citizens of the Town of Norwood and the southern end of Stanly County. Their dedication keeps our community safe 365 days a year, and we are honored to participate in a parade that supports their vital mission.
The parade also provides support and recognition to local high school bands, the honor guard, and many community-focused programs that help nurture pride, leadership, and creativity among local youth.
This year’s New Finish, Inc. float was packed with holiday spirit—and people!
Our employees and their families climbed aboard to celebrate together, wave to the crowd, and hand out New Finish logo caps and plenty of candy to excited parade-goers. The weather was cool but dry—perfect for a festive, lively evening downtown.
For us, participating in events like the Norwood Christmas Parade is about more than tradition—it’s about giving back, supporting local organizations, and celebrating the community that supports us all year long.
